Chris Monzel

Chris Monzel is a seasoned professional in the aerospace industry, currently serving as the LEAP Engineering Cost Execution Leader at GE Aerospace since August 2023. With a career at GE spanning over two decades, Monzel has held various leadership positions, including Operations Leader for the Repair Technology Center of Excellence, Edison Works Engineering Compliance Leader, and GE90 Business Program Manager. Monzel's previous experience includes roles at GE Aviation, where responsibilities included serving as a Services Engineering CSA Productivity Master Blackbelt and GEnx/LEAP Engineering Manager. Monzel's public service experience encompasses serving as County Commissioner for Hamilton County and as a City Councilman in Cincinnati. Academically, Monzel holds a Master of Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School, a Master’s in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, and a Bachelor’s in Aeronautical-Astronautical Engineering from Purdue University.
