Wendy Carriker

Wendy Carriker has extensive experience in leadership and service, particularly within the General Federation of Women's Clubs (GFWC), where current roles include President-elect for 2024-2026 and First Vice President for 2022-2024, among others. Wendy has been involved with GFWC since June 2016, previously serving as Treasurer and holding multiple officer positions across different terms. In addition, Wendy is a co-owner of Megan's Mutt Munchies, providing healthy dog treats, and has volunteered at Victory Junction Gang Camp since 2005. A long-time member of the Mount Airy City Schools Board of Education since 1996, Wendy also held the position of Past State President for GFWC-NC from 2012 to 2014. Additionally, Wendy operates Wendy Jane Creations, a wholesale needlework business, and has served as the Chairman of the Communications and Public Relations Committee for GFWC. Wendy's education includes attendance at Walter Williams High School and Warren Mott High School.
