Robert Crystal

Robert Crystal brings more than 16 years of international accounting, tax, and finance experience supporting cleantech companies. He has successfully built-up departments with international expansion. Robert has helped companies obtain various forms of financing in entrepreneurial growth environments pre and post-commercialization and provided value to all stakeholders, internally and externally.

Robert spent nine years at Ostara, a world leader in nutrient recovery and one of Canada’s premier cleantech companies. He started as a Controller and became the Vice President of Finance as the company scaled from pre-commercial to commercial operations and expanded geographically. He also spent a year at AES Engineering as a Director, helping build and scale the company’s Finance team for growth in one of Western Canada’s premier engineering consulting firms.
