Jake Nees

Jake Nees has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Jake began their career as a Personal Assistant at the Illinois Department of Rehabilitation Services in 2008 before transitioning to the hospitality industry. In 2011, they worked as a Guest Service Representative/Night Auditor at the Holiday Inn Express and Suites Mattoon. Jake then joined the Country Inn & Suites By Carlson as an Interim General Manager in 2012, followed by a move to the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Bethany as a General Manager, where they were later promoted to Assistant General Manager. In 2014, they took on the role of Assistant General Manager at the Ambassador Hotel. Since 2015, Jake has been associated with General Hotels Corporation, first as a General Manager at The State House Inn and later at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Edwardsville. Currently, they serve as the Regional Director of Operations at General Hotels Corporation.

Jake Nees attended Eastern Illinois University from 2008 to 2012, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Sociology with a Business Administration Minor.
