Akshay Gothankar

Akshay Gothankar has over a decade of experience in international marketing and business development, currently serving as Area Manager for International Marketing at General Industrial Controls Pvt. Ltd. (GIC) since August 2015, focusing on the Middle East and Africa. Prior to this role, Akshay held positions as Senior Engineer in International Marketing at STELMEC LIMITED, managing projects in Asia and Africa, and as Export Executive Engineer at Rishabh Instruments Private Limited, targeting business development in Scandinavia and CIS countries. Additional experience includes a Marketing Executive Engineer role at Powerfield Technologies (India) Private Limited and an Apprenticeship Trainee position at Crompton Greaves. Akshay holds an MBA in Marketing from M.G. Vidyamandirs Institute of Management and Research and a BE in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Pravara Gramin Education Society’s Sir Vishweshwarayya College of Engineering.
