Kartik Gupta

Kartik Gupta is a seasoned Property Underwriter at GIC Re Syndicate 1947 since September 2020, specializing in managing the International property D&F segment with a focus on downstream energy, utilities, and mining accounts. Previously, Kartik held various roles at the General Insurance Corporation of India (GIC Re) from April 2014 to September 2020, including Deputy Manager and Assistant Manager, where responsibilities encompassed underwriting and placement of operational large risks in the domestic market, involving client interactions and premium ratings. Kartik holds an M.B.A. in Risk Management & Insurance from the National Insurance Academy and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rajiv Gandhi Prodyogiki Vishwavidyalaya. Additionally, Kartik is pursuing the FIII qualification in Non-Life from the Insurance Institute of India.
