Danielle Walsh is the Head of the Director’s Office for Fitness to Practise at the General Medical Council, a position held since July 2014. In this role, Danielle designed and delivered a bespoke learning program for the Legal Team and managed knowledge development. Prior experience includes serving as an Associate Solicitor at Osborn Abas Hunt and working in the Litigation and Enforcement Team at the Health and Safety Executive, where involvement included the investigation and prosecution of complex cases in various high-risk industries. Danielle began the legal career as a Fee Earner at Goodmans Law. Educational qualifications include a Bar Vocational Course and Graduate Diploma in Law from The Manchester Metropolitan University, along with a BA (Hons) in History from The University of Manchester.
