Dr. Sara Riley has extensive experience in the medical and psychotherapy fields, currently working as GMC Doctor Support at the General Medical Council since August 2016, and as a BMA advisor offering voluntary telephone support to doctors and medical students since August 2014. Dr. Riley has been a GP partner with the NHS since April 1994 and has also served as an appraiser for NHS England since 2013. In private practice since March 2004, Dr. Riley specializes as a couple and relationship psychotherapist based in London and Exeter, while also holding roles in family mediation and consultancy with Turner Nicholson and Alternative Dispute Resolution. Dr. Riley completed a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at St Thomas Hospital Medical School, London University, from 1981 to 1986, and has undergone additional training in coaching skills through Management Futures ILM Level 5.
