Jane Cannon

Jane Cannon has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Jane began their career in 2000 at HSBC, where they initially worked as a Mortgage Service Centre - Helpdesk Agent. Jane then moved on to their Graduate Training Programme and later became a Project Manager, holding this position until 2008.

In 2009, Jane joined Macmillan Cancer Support as a Project Manager for a short period before transitioning to the Royal College of Physicians. Jane was appointed as the Head of Quality Management Projects and held this position until 2014.

Since 2014, Jane has been employed by the General Medical Council. Jane initially served as the Data and Reporting Manager and made their way up to become the Head of Operations, a role they still hold.

Jane Cannon attended Durham University from 1991 to 1998, where they obtained a Bachelor of Sciences degree specializing in Natural Sciences. Their field of study included Geology, Chemistry, English, and Philosophy. Later, from 2001 to 2005, Jane pursued their studies at The University of Manchester, earning a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Financial Services.
