Kate Gregory has extensive work experience in the field of quality assurance and business planning. Kate started their career at the General Dental Council as a Visit Secretary from August 2003 to October 2005. Kate then moved on to the General Medical Council, where they held various roles, including Quality Analyst from November 2005 to March 2009, Education QA Project Manager from March 2009 to May 2013, Joint Head of Quality from May 2013 to August 2022, and Head Of Quality Assurance from June 2018 to March 2023. Currently, they are working as the Head of Business Planning and Reporting at the General Medical Council starting from January 2023.
Kate Gregory attended Sheldon School from 1991 to 1998. After completing their secondary education, they went on to attend the University of Exeter from 1998 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English Language and Literature. Following that, they pursued further studies at the University of Exeter from 2001 to 2002, obtaining a Master of Arts (MA) degree in English Language and Literature.
