Sondra Roberto has a varied and extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Sondra started their career as an Associate at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP in 1999. Sondra then worked as an Assistant Attorney General in the Antitrust Bureau of the Office of the Attorney General for the State of New York from 2003 to 2006. From 2009 to 2012, they served as a Staff Attorney at Consumer Reports.
In 2012, Sondra joined The Health Foundation as a Policy Manager before moving to NHS Improvement in 2013. At NHS Improvement, they held roles such as Inquiries Lead in Choice and Competition and Senior Manager in Competition until 2018.
Sondra then joined The Nursing and Midwifery Council as a Regulation Advisor in the Employer Link Service, and later became the Team Leader in the same department from 2020 to 2021.
Sondra continued their career at NHS England in 2021, initially as an Assistant Director of Provider Policy before being promoted to Deputy Director of Provider Policy. Currently, they hold the position of Assistant Director - Outreach England at the General Medical Council, where they started in 2023.
Sondra Roberto has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Journalism from Arizona State University. Sondra also holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from Brooklyn Law School. Further details about their education history are not provided.
