Victoria Walker has extensive experience in various professional roles primarily focused on criminal justice, healthcare, and project management. Currently serving as a Magistrate for HM Prison and Probation Service since June 2022, Victoria is responsible for adjudicating cases in adult criminal courts, making decisions on bail, guilt, sentencing, and case referrals to the Crown Court. Simultaneously, as a Continuous Improvement Manager and Project Manager at the General Medical Council since July 2017, Victoria leads transformation projects aimed at enhancing the investigation process for doctors. Previous roles include Senior Consultant at Evidence 2 Action, Programme Facilitator at the Department of Corrections in New Zealand, and Residential Rehabilitation Coordinator at Counties Manukau Health, where Victoria worked on mental health and rehabilitation programs.
