Emily Olson

Emily Olson, MBA, CPA (inactive), has extensive experience in finance and executive compensation, currently serving as Director of Executive Compensation at General Mills since July 2007. In this role, Emily has successfully translated strategic business objectives into compensation solutions for top executives and managed a global long-term incentive plan for 2,000 employees. Previous positions at General Mills include Finance Director overseeing a $2.6 billion budget, Global Sourcing Senior Finance Manager on an expat assignment in Switzerland, and various managerial finance roles. Prior to General Mills, Emily worked at Ernst & Young as a Senior, coordinating audit work and supervising staff. Emily holds an MBA in Marketing and Strategy from the University of Minnesota and a BA in Accounting and Finance from the University of St. Thomas.
