Tom Nack

Tom Nack is an experienced R&D Business Unit Director in the Snacks sector, currently leading the R&D Snack Bars Business Unit at General Mills. From 2016 to 2019, Tom served as R&D Manager at 301 INC, connecting emerging food brands with General Mills' technical expertise. They co-founded an innovation lab within General Mills focused on solutions for individuals living with diabetes and managed multiple product launches across categories while holding various senior roles. Prior to their current position, Tom was a Senior Manager at Blue Buffalo Co, overseeing food safety and R&D integration for the acquired Pet Treats business. Tom holds a PhD in Food Science from Rutgers University and a B.S. in Food Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
