Ioana Florescu

Ioana Florescu is an experienced finance professional with a robust background spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the International Controller at General Motors since September 2007, Ioana has held various leadership roles within the organization, including Director of Financial Assurance and Technology, and Senior Manager of both Technical Accounting for Customer Care and Aftersale and Consolidation and Reporting for GM Europe. Prior to General Motors, Ioana worked at Grant Thornton as an Assurance Associate and held positions at Flagstar Bank, Lutheran Social Services of Michigan, and Detacan, advancing from Accountant to Controller. Ioana holds a Master in Accounting from Walsh College and a degree from Universitatea „Alexandru Ioan Cuza” din Iași.
