Jim Collison

Jim Collison is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in enterprise architecture and software development. Currently serving as a Senior Enterprise Architect at General Motors since March 2006, Jim focuses on architecture for Global Business Services, supporting key functions such as Human Resources and Finance. Prior to this role, Jim worked at Ford Motor Company as a Manager of Software Development, overseeing the software development process for manufacturing applications. Jim’s career also includes a position as Application Manager at Kmart Corporation, where management of teams for executive reporting and vendor compliance was emphasized, as well as a brief role in software integration management at Perot Systems. Jim holds a Master’s degree in Software Engineering Management from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering from Oakland University.
