Nazmul Hassan

Nazmul Hassan is an experienced industrial engineer with a robust background in managing teams and optimizing operational processes. Currently at General Motors, Nazmul is responsible for leading the plant industrial engineering team, focusing on staffing plans and productivity objectives. Previously, as Manager of Industrial Engineering at BlueOval SK, LLC, Nazmul played a pivotal role in launching the facility at BlueOval SK Battery Park in Kentucky. Nazmul also provided consulting services at Nazmul Hassan Consulting, enhancing continuous improvement strategies for TRUE TRUCK. Prior experience at Ford Motor Company spans over two decades in various supervisory roles, including Manufacturing Data Analytics and Electrification Engineering, leading teams that delivered substantial cost savings and optimized manufacturing processes. Nazmul holds a PhD in Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering from Wayne State University, an MS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and a BS in Mathematics and Economics from Morningside University.
