Patrick Rye is currently the Propulsion Virtual Performance Integration Manager for RESS at General Motors and a doctoral candidate in Systems Engineering at Colorado State University. Previously, they held various engineering roles at General Motors, including GPG TRACK Website Lead and Lead CAE Integration Engineer, where they led notable projects that achieved significant cost reductions and efficiency improvements. Patrick also gained valuable experience through co-op positions at Gentherm and Akebono Corporation and contributed to research on subatomic particles during their studies at QuarkNet. They earned a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan-Dearborn and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University.
