Priya Raghunath

Priya Raghunath is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in the technology and automotive sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at General Motors since February 2013, Priya leads global teams in the development of manufacturing engineering applications to support the company's vision for electric vehicles. Previous roles include Senior Development Manager and Development Manager at General Motors, where Priya managed software development initiatives and drove innovative strategies for next-generation manufacturing systems. Prior to this, Priya held key positions at Microsoft Corporation as a Senior Software Development and Test Engineer and at Dell as a Senior Software Developer, contributing to significant revenue enhancements and operational efficiencies. Early career experience includes a research assistantship at the University of Houston and a software development internship at Hewlett-Packard. Priya holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Chicago and has a foundational education from the University of Madras.
