Thangeswaran Natarajan

Thangeswaran Natarajan is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in embedded software development and team leadership. Currently serving as a Senior Manager at General Motors since May 2023, Thangeswaran Natarajan leads projects focused on ASIL D-based functional safety and the development of in-house Linux on high-compute SoCs for infotainment applications. Previously, as Head of Embedded Software for Autonomy & AI at Rivian from April 2021 to May 2023, Thangeswaran Natarajan expanded the embedded team significantly and oversaw the development of various platforms utilizing Linux and QNX. Thangeswaran Natarajan also held managerial roles at Stryker, where the focus was on safety-critical software for defibrillators, and at PERFINT Healthcare, where program management involved cross-functional scheduling for a robotics-assisted device. Earlier in the career, Thangeswaran Natarajan worked at HCL Technologies managing teams for software and test development in the medical device sector. Thangeswaran Natarajan holds an MBA from the University of Washington and an MS in Software Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
