Dirk Nieder

Dirk Nieder has a robust career at Gen Re, spanning from 1991 to the present, where notable positions have included Regional Director for North East Asia and Vice President of the Far East, focusing on expanding operations in Japan and South Korea. As Regional Chief Actuary, responsibilities included promoting Long Term Care products and overseeing marketing activities. Prior roles involved building a presence in Japan and South Korea as Actuary of the Far East, developing the reinsurance business in the former Soviet Union and Baltic States, and leading product management efforts in Cologne. Earlier experience included teaching at the University of Cologne.
