Bryan Urias

Bryan Urias is a seasoned professional in cybersecurity and compliance, currently serving as the Board Chair for the Computer Science Curriculum Advisory Board at Florida Polytechnic University since February 2024. Bryan has held the position of Security Governance, Risk & Compliance Lead at Generali Global Assistance since August 2022, and previously worked as Security and Compliance Manager and Application Security and Compliance Analyst at JustProtect from March 2020 to August 2022. Additionally, Bryan was the South Florida Chapter Director for RaicesCyberOrg from September 2021 to June 2022, contributing to a community focused on empowering Hispanics and Latino allies. Bryan's earlier experience includes roles at Florida Polytechnic University as a Student Education Assistant and IT Student Worker, as well as internships at the National Security Innovation Network and Orange County Public Schools. Bryan holds a Master of Cybersecurity from the University of South Florida and two Bachelor of Science degrees in Computer and Information Systems Security and Cybersecurity from Florida Polytechnic University.
