Jose Marquez Velasco

Jose Marquez Velasco is a seasoned machine learning engineer currently working at Generali Hellas since March 2022, where responsibilities include developing and maintaining scalable machine learning solutions for AI products, along with data manipulation and model validation. Previously, Jose held a similar role at EXUS, where technical leadership in EU projects was also a key responsibility. Jose's experience spans a variety of positions including fullstack software engineer roles at Generali Hellas and postdoctoral research at Elettra Sincrotrone Trieste. Prior research includes work on graphene growth at the Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology and a focus on superhydrophobicity during an early research role. Jose holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the National Technical University of Athens and a BS in Physics from Universidad de Sevilla.
