Thorsten Runde

Thorsten Runde is currently the Team Leader of Quantitative Research at Generali Investments Europe. They earned a Dr. rer. pol. in Economics with a focus on Econometrics and Economic Statistics, as well as a Diplom Volkswirt from the University of Muenster. Previously, Runde worked as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter, Wissenschaftliche Hilfskraft, and Studentische Hilfskraft at the University of Muenster before serving as a Referent at Allianz Life and a Quantitative Analyst at AM Finanzanlagen-Management GmbH. They also held the position of Abteilungsdirektor for Quantitative Research at HSBC for a brief period in 2007.
