Wolfgang Weidinger

Wolfgang Weidinger is a seasoned data science and AI professional with extensive experience across various domains. Currently, Wolfgang serves as the Head of Data Science & AI Lab at Generali, leading the development of company-wide AI systems and coordinating data and AI projects within Generali Austria. Previous roles include Head of Data & Analytics at PwC Deutschland, where Wolfgang oversaw the Digital Factory for AI and data projects, and Chief Data Scientist at FRANKSTAHL, managing the company's data science team. Wolfgang co-founded the EMEA Data Science team at Experian and held senior positions at UniCredit, focusing on machine learning and capital management projects. As Chairman of the Vienna Data Science Group, Wolfgang promotes data science knowledge globally. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics from Technische Universität Wien.
