Andrew Barry

Andrew Barry is a technology professional with extensive experience in machine learning and robotics. As Co-Founder and CTO of Generalist AI since March 2024, Andrew leads innovative initiatives in artificial intelligence. Prior to this role, Andrew served as a Machine Learning Scientist at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard from October 2021 to March 2024, and as a Senior Roboticist at Boston Dynamics from April 2016 to July 2021. Andrew earned a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering.
