Matej Majerčák has a diverse work experience spanning across various roles and companies. Matej is currently the Group CEO at Generalist Capital starting from December 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Managing Partner at CORPFIN ADVISORY since August 2021. Matej also held the position of CEO at MiddleCap Group S.A. from May 2018 to July 2019. Matej co-founded MiddleCap Partners s.r.o. in January 2011 and served as a Founding Partner until July 2019. Matej was the Managing Partner at NEUROPEA Corporate Finance from May 2009 to December 2011. Matej has also worked as the Head of Capital Markets at CBRE from September 2008 to May 2009, and as a Senior Associate at Deloitte Central Europe from March 2006 to September 2008. Matej started their career as an Associate at KPMG in Slovakia from February 2002 to February 2006.
Matej Majerčák completed Level II of the CFA Institute from 2004 to 2006. Prior to that, from 1999 to 2002, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, General from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Additionally, from 1998 to 2002, they also obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the same university.
