Jason Yi

Jason Yi has extensive work experience in the field of biomedicine and scientific research. Jason is currently employed as a Principal Scientist at Generate Biomedicines, Inc. since January 2022. Before that, they held the same role at IMMPACT BIO USA INC from January 2021 to January 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Scientist at IMMPACT BIO USA INC from January 2020 to January 2021.

Jason also has experience as a Scientist II at A2 Biotherapeutics, Inc from January 2019 to January 2020 and at bluebird bio from 2018 to 2019.

Jason began their career at the National Cancer Institute (NCI) as a CRTA Fellow from May 2013 to February 2018. Before that, they worked as a Pre-IRTA Fellow at the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute from August 2006 to May 2013.

Their earlier experiences include working as a Cryostat Technician at Northwestern University in 2006, a QC Microbiology Technician at Hospira from September 2005 to May 2006, and a Chromatography Technician at Nalco from October 2004 to September 2005.

Jason Yi has a PhD in Biology, General from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, which they obtained from 2007 to 2012. In 2010, they also received a certificate in Biotech Entrepreneurship Training from The Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School. Prior to that, they obtained a BS in Biology from the University of California, Davis from 1999 to 2002. Jason also studied Biology at Penn State University from 1996 to 1998.
