Jenhan Tao

Jenhan Tao is a Senior Scientist in Machine Learning at Generate Biomedicines, with a career spanning various roles in bioinformatics and machine learning. At Generate Biomedicines since November 2019, Jenhan has contributed to advancements in machine learning applications. Previously at Illumina, from December 2018 to November 2019, Jenhan focused on algorithm development and data analysis for cancer biomarker detection using next generation sequencing. Jenhan's academic experience includes a PhD in Bioinformatics from UC San Diego and research roles at established laboratories such as the Glass Lab at UC San Diego, Densmore Lab at Boston University, Anderson Lab at UC Berkeley, and BioFAB at Synberc. Jenhan's work has encompassed statistical modeling, software development for DNA assembly, and the investigation of immune cell behavior through genomics data.
