Tharindi Hapuarachchi, PhD, has a diverse range of work experience. Tharindi currently holds the position of VP Machine Learning Strategy & Operations at Generate:Biomedicines. Tharindi is responsible for overseeing machine learning strategies and operations within the company.

Tharindi additionally worked as a Data Scientist at eRevalue, where they contributed to the development of interactive visualizations for the company's sustainability platform. Tharindi also had research positions at University Hospital Zürich, where they worked with clinicians and researchers in the field of neonatology, and at the University of Oxford. Furthermore, they served as a Postgraduate Teaching Assistant at UCL.
