Joana Vargas

Joana Vargas is an experienced professional with a strong background in operations management and administrative coordination within educational organizations. Currently serving as Office Manager and Administrative Coordinator at Generation Hope since March 2022, Joana has previously held the position of Operations Manager at Capital City Public Charter School, where responsibilities included managing school operations, student data, event planning, and recruitment. Joana's experience also includes managing daily operations and long-term projects at Ascend Public Charter Schools, supporting family engagement and community outreach as an Operations Associate at East Harlem Scholars Academies, and serving in various educational roles, including teaching. Joana completed a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Queens College in 2014.
