Justin Gillis

Justin Gillis is a seasoned professional in environmental journalism and consulting, currently serving as Director at Generation Investment Management since October 2022. Prior to this role, Justin operated as a self-employed author, consultant, and public speaker from October 2017 to December 2022, dedicating efforts to global climate change issues. Justin's extensive experience includes nearly a decade as an environmental science writer and assistant business editor at The New York Times, along with roles as a director at Red & Black Publishing Co. and a reporter/editor at The Washington Post and Miami Herald. Justin's academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from The University of Georgia and participation as a fellow at the Knight Science Journalism Fellowships at MIT.
