Sylvie Garvey Cotton

Sylvie Garvey Cotton has a long and varied career in the IT industry. Sylvie began their career in 1992 as an Environmental Consultant Intern at AMEC Design. In 1993, they took on the role of Property Management Specialist at Elf Oil AG. From 1994-1996, they worked as an IT Support Specialist Intern at Irish College Leuven. In 1996, they joined Accenture UK as a Finance Consultant, where they held roles such as Finance Transformation Project Manager for Virgin Wines, Procurement Transformation Project Manager for Allergy Therapeutics, and Project Manager for Exodus. In 2007, they were promoted to Systems Integration Oracle Practice Manager at Accenture UK. In 2010, they moved to the UK Innovation Centre at Accenture UK. In 2011, they founded and directed Computer Fitness. In 2017, they joined Generic Network Systems as Business Development Lead. Most recently, in 2018, they were appointed Director of European Operations BBD Software and UK Operations Director at BBD.

Sylvie Garvey Cotton received their European Baccalaureat from the Ecole Européenne de Bruxelles II - European School of Brussels II. Sylvie then went on to earn their BA (Hons) in Business and Economics from Trinity College Dublin, followed by an M.A. (Dubl.) from the same institution. Finally, they earned their European Master of Management - Diplom Kauffrau (Dipl.-Kff) - Diplome de Grande Ecole de Gestion from ESCP Business School.
