Rory Mattar

Rory Mattar has a diverse background in education and human resources, currently serving as H.R. Executive at Genesee Education Consultant Services since February 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Assistant Principal and Assistant Executive Director at Powers Catholic High School/GCCS from August 2014 to May 2023, and as President at Powers Catholic High School from August 2015 to March 2023. Rory held the position of High School Principal at both Carman-Ainsworth Community Schools and Carman-Ainsworth Schools from September 2007 to August 2014. Rory's career in education began as a Teacher/Coach at Swartz Creek School District from September 1988 to June 2000, and earlier as a Teacher at St. Robert School in Flushing from August 1981 to June 1989. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Health and Physical Education/Fitness from Evangel University and a Master's Degree in Physiology of Exercise from Michigan State University.
