Dr. Lisa Hearn Shumpert currently serves as an Advisory Council Member for Women Leaders Connect, a community initiative under A Chief Executive Group, since January 2024. With extensive experience in compliance and privacy, Dr. Shumpert has held the position of Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer for Genesee Health System and GCHC since April 2001, after starting as a Clinical Therapist at Genesee County Community Mental Health in 1997. Prior roles include providing clinical therapy and support services for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault at the Young Women's Christian Association from 1998 to 2001. Dr. Shumpert holds a Doctorate in Healthcare Administration from Virginia University of Lynchburg, a Master's degree in Biopsychology from Howard University, and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Central State University.
