Yang Shao

Yang Shao is the current CEO at Geneseeq Technology. Prior to this, they were a marketing intern at ALM Corp from November 2020 to January 2021. There, they conducted a market analysis of various App analytic tools and integrated an App into each selected App analytic tool. Yang also performed detailed technical/user experience analyses and identified the area of opportunity for a potential new App analytic tool. From September 2017 to January 2018, Yang Shao was a research and development intern at Perception neuroscience, where they helped prepare the pre-IND meeting and write the IB for a new drug application to the FDA. Yang Shao has also worked as a research assistant at the University of Ottawa from May 2011 to August 2011, where they studied the protein arginine methyltransferase (PRMT) activity on the regulation of nucleolar translocation of VHL during stress conditions.

Yang Shao has a PhD in cancer research from the University of Toronto, an MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology, and a PhD in cancer research and proteomics from New York University. Yang has a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Ottawa.
