Shawna Slack

Shawna Slack has a diverse and extensive work experience. In 1999, they worked as a Principal at Yankeetek Ventures, where they focused on investments in internet infrastructure, software, and new materials technologies. In 2003, Shawna founded Genesis Advisers, a leadership development consultancy, and served as the CEO and Founder. Over the past 16 years, they have transformed the consultancy into a global organization, providing coaching, workshops, and online learning solutions to CEOs, CHROs, and their leadership teams. Shawna currently holds the position of Chairman and Co-Founder at Genesis Advisers, where they guide the strategic vision of the company and serves as a coach and advisor to CEOs, company founders, and boards on strategic planning and leadership. Alongside their role at Genesis Advisers, Shawna is also an Investment Committee Member at Castor Ventures since 2017. Additionally, they have served as the Board Member and Past President of the Boston Chapter of Entrepreneurs' Organization.
