Andrea Requena Parra

Andrea Requena Parra has a background in the pharmaceutical, biotech, and healthcare industry. Andrea worked as a Pharma, Biotech & Healthcare Consultant at GENESIS Biomed from February 2023. Prior to that, they were a Strategic Consultant at AXIS PHARMA S.L. from March 2022 to February 2023. Andrea also gained practical experience at IMIM from January 2021 to August 2021, where they worked with processed RNA samples from COVID-19 patients using Next Generation Sequencing and analyzing the data using tools such as R, RStudio, and RMarkdown.

Andrea Requena Parra completed their Bachelor's degree in Bioinformatics from Universitat de Vic – Universitat Central de Catalunya. Andrea attended this institution from 2016 to 2021. In 2019, they obtained a certification in BioMolecular Analysis in an International Context from Coventry University.

In 2021, Andrea enrolled in IESE Business School to pursue a Master's degree in Pharma-Biotech Business Administration and Management. Andrea is expected to complete this program in 2022. Additionally, in the same year, they obtained an EF SET English Certificate with a score of 66/100 (C1 Advanced). In 2021, they also received the Explorer 'Jovenes con Soluciones' - Emprendedores certification from Explorer.
