Dr. Alexander A. Harpe

Dr. Alexander Harpe has a diverse work experience in various leadership roles. Dr. Alexander is currently serving as the Chief Business Development Officer at Genesis Cloud since 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Senior Vice President of Sales at IBM Watson Media from 2020 to 2021. From 2017 to 2020, they served as the Group Chief Sales Officer at Redavia. In addition, they have also held positions such as Chairman of the Board at Capaxo Capital (2014-2018), Designee Board Member at IBM (2014-2015), and Senior Vice President European Sales at Forrester Research (2013-2015). Furthermore, they have experience as a Visiting Adjunct Professor at the University of Applied Sciences Munich (2010-2014), President & CEO at MergersCorp M&A International (2005-2013), Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Business Development at Fujitsu Technology Solutions (2000-2005), and Group Director of Marketing and Business Development at IMS Health (1997-2000).

Dr. Alexander Harpe has a diverse education history. Dr. Alexander earned a Bachelor's Degree from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, with a major in Political Science and Information Technology, and a minor in Informatics. Dr. Alexander then pursued further education at the University of Oxford, where they completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Engineering. Dr. Alexander'sdoctoral thesis focused on the first use of computers, specifically IBM Advanced Leadership. Dr. Harpe also attended The Wharton School, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a concentration in International Finance, Marketing, and Strategic Management.
