Joyce Huang

Joyce Huang is a seasoned professional in the field of chemistry, currently serving as Chief Science Officer at Genesis Drug Discovery & Development (GD³) since November 2021. Prior to this role, Joyce held the position of Director of Chemistry at Genesis Biotechnology Group/Venenum Biodesign from May 2019 to January 2022, and has extensive experience as Assistant Director and Team Leader in Medicinal Chemistry at Venenum BioDesign, LLC from May 2010 to May 2019. Joyce's career began at Pharmacopeia as Senior Principal Scientist and includes a role as Senior Research Investigator at Ligand Pharmaceuticals. Joyce's foundational experience was gained as a Post-Doctoral researcher at Duke University. Academically, Joyce earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry from The University of Texas at Austin and holds a BS in Chemistry from National Taiwan University.
