Philip Luers

Philip Luers has been working as a Senior System Engineer at Genesis Engineering Solutions, Inc. since January 2021. Previously, they worked at NASA as an Electrical Engineer, where they held various roles, including Electrical Systems Engineer for LRO, ATLAS, and WFI, and C&DH Engineer for SAMPEX, XTE, TRMM, EO-1, ACE, and Lewis. Philip worked at NASA from June 1989 to December 2020.

Philip Luers completed their primary education at the University of Maryland from 1982 to 1988, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. Following this, they pursued further studies at The Johns Hopkins University from 1992 to 1997, graduating with a Master of Science in Computer Science.
