Katherine Swanson, M.A., SHRM-SCP has over 13 years of experience in human resources. Katherine'smost recent role was as the Human Resources Director at Genesis Group Homes, Inc. from August 2020 to present. Prior to that, they served as the Human Resources Manager from June 2018 to August 2020 and as a Human Resources Generalist from June 2016 to June 2018 at the same organization. Katherine also worked as a Human Resources Generalist at Oxygen Service Company from May 2015 to June 2016. Before that, they held positions at Augsburg Fortress Publishers, Doubletree Hotel, Canterbury Park, and Hilton Minneapolis, where they gained experience in various aspects of HR, including staffing and recruitment, benefits administration, payroll management, and employee event coordination.

Katherine Swanson, M.A., SHRM-SCP completed their education with a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Human Resource Management from St. Marys University of Minnesota from 2012 to 2015. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management and Business Administration from Winona State University in 2009. Additionally, Katherine has completed Training the Trainer/Supervision 1 coursework from MRA.
