Ziad Mirza

Ziad Mirza has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Ziad currently serves as a NINDS Board Member at the NIH Clinical Center. Prior to this, they worked as a Physician Surveyor at NCQA and as the Chief Medical Officer at HyperHeal Hyperbarics, Inc. Ziad also has experience as the President of Baltimore Medical & Surgical Associates PA and as a Medical Director at Genesis HealthCare. Ziad Mirza is also a Founding Member of Wound Healing Centers of America LLC. Ziad served as the Medical Director at Greater Baltimore Medical Center from 2013 to 2016.

Ziad Mirza holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Chemistry from the American University of Beirut, which they obtained from 1980 to 1983. Ziad went on to pursue a medical degree (md) in medicine at the same institution from 1983 to 1987. Later, Ziad completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Healthcare at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, which they completed in 2007. Currently, they are studying for a degree in Integrative Medicine as a Fellow of Integrative Health & Medicine at AIHM, from 2021 to 2023.
