Jason Pang

Jason Pang is a Senior Decommissioning Engineer at Genesis Oil and Gas Consultants, with extensive experience in the oil and gas sector. Previously, Jason worked at Lloyd's Register for over seven years, holding various roles including Senior Surveyor/Verification Engineer, where responsibilities included project management of decommissioning contracts in the Irish Sea and North Sea, as well as developing Verification Work Instructions. Additional roles at Lloyd's Register included Mechanical Surveyor and Assistant Surveyor, focusing on offshore verification surveys and management of modifications. Jason's early career includes a summer placement at Total in Subsea and Well Integrity Engineering and a trainee position at Westerton (UK) Limited. Jason holds a BEng (Hons) in Mechanical and Offshore Engineering from Robert Gordon University and is pursuing an MSc in Decommissioning at the University of Aberdeen.
