Stefan Björklund

Stefan Björklund is currently the Residential Responsible and Director at Genesta. Prior to this, they were with Doughty Hanson as a Senior Associate for Real Estate where they ran the Nordic real estate operations and was responsible for sourcing new deals and asset management of the Nordic asset. Stefan was also responsible for the Volvo office investment consisting of 49.000 square metres office property located in the Torslanda district of Gothenburg. In December 2014, they successfully managed an exit of the Volvo investment through a creative sale to a syndicate of institutions and high net worth individuals.

From June 2015 to February 2022, Stefan was Head Of Analysis And Transaction with Einar Mattsson AB. Stefan was responsible for the Analysis and transaction group consisting of 3 analysts. Stefan supported the Einar Mattsson’s group investment management, transaction execution, asset management, portfolio allocation, tax and legal structures. Stefan also worked with the acquisition of project properties and disposal to tenant owner associations after finished projects.

Prior to joining Einar Mattsson, Stefan worked as a Financial Analyst from September 2008 to October 2011.

Stefan Björklund has a MSc. in Economics and Business Administration from Stockholm School of Economics with a focus in finance.
