Abby McKenna is currently a Program Coordinator for the National Capital Region at Genesys Works. Prior to this, they were a Front Desk Assistant and a Patron Service Assistant at William & Mary. Abby also interned for two companies in marketing, SuddenSelfie and Sunels Tech & Capital Corporation (STCC).
Abby has always been a people person and enjoys helping others. This led their to pursue a career in customer service. Abby excelled in their role as a Front Desk Assistant, handling customer questions and complaints with a friendly and welcoming demeanor. Abby was also responsible for maintaining an orderly and organized front desk area, as well as managing a detailed schedule of events and student group space reservations.
In their previous role as a Patron Service Assistant at the gym, Abby served as the main point of contact for patrons, providing them with information and troubleshooting any issues they had. Abby did all of this while maintaining employment and academics without letting their performance in either suffer.
Abby's marketing internships allowed their to gain valuable experience in the field. Abby worked with both SuddenSelfie and Sunels Tech & Capital Corporation (STCC), developing their skills in marketing and communications. These experiences prepared their for their current role as a Program Coordinator, where they are responsible for coordinating programs and events for the National Capital Region at Genesys Works.
Abby McKenna has a Bachelor of Business Administration from William & Mary's Raymond A. Mason School of Business. Her field is marketing, and they have experience working in both the public and private sector.
