Wendy Brooks

Wendy Brooks is the Site Manager for Genesys Works in Fort Bend, Houston. Wendy has dedicated their career to helping others reach their full potential. Wendy has a passion for education and workforce development.

Wendy started their career as an AmeriCorps member with Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) where they served as an Employment Coach. In this role, Wendy provided job search and placement assistance to clients. Wendy conducted skills and needs assessments, reviewed clients' employment goals, and referred them to appropriate jobs that matched their skills and needs. Wendy also tracked client progress and outcomes, and researched and compiled labor market information.

In their current role as Site Manager, Wendy is responsible for overseeing Genesys Works' programs and operations in Fort Bend County. Wendy works closely with program staff to ensure that clients are receiving the best possible service. Wendy also attends scheduled program meetings and provides input on how to improve the program.
