Andrew Hong

Andrew Hong is an experienced Data Engineer at Genesys since December 2019, specializing in data platform initialization on Google Cloud Platform with technologies such as Python and BigQuery. Prior to this, Andrew held various roles including Data Analyst Intern at SPC Student Price Card, where data requirements were defined, and KPIs developed, as well as a Data Science Intern at Shop Bonsai, where baseline recommendation systems and ETL pipelines were built. Earlier experiences include software engineering internships at The Globe and Mail and contributions to machine learning platform development at Intact, among other technical positions at CIBC and BlackBerry. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
