Jay Langsford is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and management. Currently serving as Vice President of Software Engineering at Genesys since December 2016, Jay leads a global team in the development of cloud-native solutions that enhance workforce management and performance using microservices and serverless architectures on AWS. Previous roles at Genesys include Senior Director and Director of Software Engineering, where Jay managed substantial teams focused on cloud offerings. Prior to Genesys, Jay worked at Interactive Intelligence for 17 years, advancing from Software Engineer to Director, overseeing various engineering efforts in workforce and quality management solutions. Jay's career began at Computer Task Group as a Systems Analyst, and academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science as well as Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Hanover College.
