Richard Smith, PhD, CGMBS has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Richard has held various roles in different companies, starting with their time at the University of California Los Angeles as a Graduate Student. In addition to their academic achievements, Richard Smith has obtained several certifications. In 1998, they became a Technologist in Molecular Biology through the American Society for Clinical Pathology. The following year, in 1999, they obtained the Diplomate in Lab Management certification from the same institution. More recently, in 2009, Richard Smith received the Clinical Genetic Molecular Biologist Scientist certification from the California Department of Public Health.
